The Hindu College of Pharmacy is having a well-furnished Machine Room necessary for the formulation and development of various solid, liquid and semi solid dosage forms. Machines are also available for evaluation of various pharmaceutical dosage forms. Each machine has separate platform with Standard Operating Procedure, Log Book, and operation manual. Machine Room facility provides a platform for young and aspiring pharmacist, post graduate students and research scholars to gain the hands on experience on unit operations used in the pharmaceutical industry and for the development of novel drug delivery systems in real time. The Machine room is equipped with Granulator, Colloidal mill, Cutter mill, Mechanical sieve shaker, Tray dryer, Gyratory shaker, Rotary Tablet Punching machines (10 and 16 station), R and D Tablet Coating Machine, Hardness tester, Friability Tester, Disintegration testing apparatus, Dissolution testing apparatus, Capsule Filling Machine, Ampoule washing and sealing machines, Ointment Filling and Crimping machines, Brookfield viscometer, Probe and Bath sonicator.
