Objectives:
The course is designed to integrate teaching, learning and understanding of pharmaceutical principles. There is a lot of scope for research from fundamental science of drug packing, stability, dosage forms and release control to complex molecular targeting and imaging modalities inside the body to modeling of drug action and therapeutic performance. Student will complete the course with knowledge and skills applicable for a variety of practical settings in dosage form design, manufacturing technology, drug stability, regulatory aspects, patents, quality control and quality assurance and concept of relevance between drug delivery optimization and therapeutic outcome.
Current research directions and applications will also be included to reflect the latest development in pharmaceutics areas.
