PharmD (Post Baccalaureate) is a doctoral programme in professional pharmacy that helps students to learn and improve skills related to diagnosis, therapeutic usage of drugs, choice of drugs, treatment of diseases, and monitoring of patients. The duration of PharmD (Post Baccalaureate) is 2 years followed by 1 year of internship.
Students who have completed B Pharmacy can take admission in the 4th year of PharmD course through Lateral Entry which is known as PharmD (PB). The eligibility of Pharm.D (PB) is that the students must have B.Pharmacy degree from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
