Cultral Committee
Objective

Cultural Committee is working with an objective of giving a holistic approach to professional education. The Committee intends to create an atmosphere, which is intellectually and aesthetically stimulating for the community on the campus.The College believes in all round development of personality of the students as goal of education. It aims to provide rich cultural experiences and innovative technical taste so that student appreciates the multi-cultural diversity of the society. To assist the students to develop communication skills, organizational skills, tolerance to criticism, positive attitudes, leadership, and capacity for mingling and getting-on with peers of different mentalities, etc. To encourage the budding Professionals to exhibit their talents in Technical & Cultural activities like elocution, debate, essay writing, quiz, paper presentation,singing,acting,finearts,etc.

Role and Responsibility

» The Cultural Committee shall be responsible for all intra and inter collegiate cultural events in the College.


» To plan and schedule cultural events for the academic year. (Tentative dates to be included in the academic calendar of the institute.)


» To prepare budget for all cultural events and take necessary steps for its approval.


» The Convener of the committee shall conduct a meeting of the committee to discuss and delegate task

The Cultural Committee of Hindu College of Pharmacy, encourage the students to go beyond the barriers and prove their worth and talent to the world. Our esteemed college has always bagged many achievements, and has proved itself in every field possible. This year, too, has been a special one, some of them are


1. The management, Hindu college of Pharmacy & Cultural committee encouraged our student Ms.R.Harini of I/IV B.Pharmacy to participate in Global Harmony 2017 which is an all India Multi-Lingual Drama, Dance, Music Contest/ Fest organised by AkhilBharatiyaSanskrutikSangh at Pune in which she bagged I-Prize in Kuchipudi& III-Prize in Folk Dance Competitions.


2. Ms.R.Harini of I/IV B.Pharmacy stood in first place in Classical Competitions in Yuvajanotsavam organised by Yuvajana Service Division- STEP-Svasakthi, Guntur at JKC College, and Guntur on 8th Sep 2017.


3. Ms.R.Harini of I/IV B.Pharmacy has completed her Diploma in Kuchipudi Dance with I Class, from PottiSreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad. Exam was held at Government school of Music & Dance, Guntur in the month of May 2017.


4. Cultural Committee of HCOP has conducted patriotic song competitions on the occasion of 71st Independence Day celebrations, in which 5 groups were participated.


5. Students of Hindu College of Pharmacy have participated in different events like Group Dance, Solo & Group Songs, Classical Dance, rangoli etc. at Intercollege cultural Fest organised by AM.Reddy College of pharmacy, Narasarao pet on 22nd Dec 2017




1. Cultural Committee of Hindu College of Pharmacy have organised several Cultural Competitions in Dance, Singing, Anthyakshari, Dumbcharades, and Skits etc. on the eve of 18th Annual Day Celebrations in which around 150 students have participated.


2. We have Organised Pharma Quiz &pharma-Cross words Puzzle programme on the occasion of National Pharmacy Week Celebrations held from 23rd Nov – 29th Nov at Hindu College of Pharmacy.


3. An Inter College Science Quiz Competition was conducted for all the students of Hindu college of pharmacy & Associated college of Hindu Society, High Schools by Cultural Committee on the occasion of National Pharmacy Week Celebrations in HCOP on 28th Feb 2017.


4. Ms.M.PriyaChandana of II/IVB.Pharmacy of our hassuccesfully completed her Diploma in Kuchipudi Dance by the support of the Management of HCOP from PottiSreeramulu Telugu Viswavidyalayam, Hyderabad, held at Government School of Music & Dance, Guntur in the month of june 2016.


5. Lions Club of Hyderabad, Kothapeta has awarded our student Ms.R.Harini for her meritorious performance in Kuchipudi on 16th July 2016.


6. Ms.R.Harini of I/IV B.Pharmacy has registered in Genies Telugu World records for participating in kuchipudi dance in largest dance programme organised by Bharath Arts academy & ABC foundation on 16th July 2016.


7. Our student Ms.PriyaChandana of II/IV B.Pharmacy has bagges a first prize in JanapadhaNruthyam competitions organised by ZillaGrandhalayaSamstha, Guntur on 18th Nov 2016.



1. Cultural Committee of Hindu College of Pharmacy have organised several competitions like Dance, Singing,Anthyakshari, Dumb Charades, Skits, and Musical Chairs on the occasion of 17th Annual Day Celebrations on 13th April 2016.


2. On the occasion of Swamy Vivekananda Birth day Celebrations on 8th Jan 2016 Cultural Committee has conducted ELOCUTION competition & Essay Writing on the topics Relevance of Swamy Vivekananda’s message to the youth of India & Role of Youth in the Development of Country in the present context. Respectively
